Manage Network Account Passwords With the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication, you now have the ability to manage your own account access for security, password changes, and lockouts from the TPS website. Go to HTTP://tulsaschools.org and select the “TEAM TULSA” link on the right side of the page. From there, select the “Password Reset” link in the middle of the page. This will bring you to the Password Management page where you have three button options to manage account access; “FORGOT MY PASSWORD”, “CHANGE MY PASSWORD”, or “MY SECURITY QUESTION”. The “FORGOT MY PASSWORD” button allows you to reset your password if you are unable to remember your password or clear your account if it has become locked. The “CHANGE MY PASSWORD” button allows you to update your password off the network if you are able to remember your current password. The “MY SECURITY QUESTIONS” button allows you to review the information you are using for the multifactor authentication and update it if necessary. When you select first button, you will be prompted to enter your email address and the Captcha letters then hit “Next”. The next page gives you the options to reset your forgotten password or unlock your account. Select the first option to reset your password or the second option to unlock your password. The next pages will take you through the multi-factor authentication options. Select the option you have access to use and then enter the response. It will take you through a two-step process to verify your identity. Once you have authenticated, it will allow you to carry out the chosen task of resetting your password or unlocking your password. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the actions. It will give you a confirmation message when the process is successful. When you select the second button, you should verify the email address it shows is your correct email address. You will also be prompted to enter your old password and create a new password to complete the process. Once completed, you will need to update your password on any devices such as a laptop or email on a phone. When you select the “MY SECURITY QUESTION” button, you will be prompted to authenticate and then review your multi-factor information and have the option to update or confirm the listed ways you have selected to access. .
