Locating Your Chromebook Serial Number
Labels
Each TPS computing device should have two label showing a serial number and an asset number. The serial number, or SN, will be the number needed to identify the device for network connection or repair purposes. The asset tag can be used to reference the serial number in cases where the serial number cannot be read.
No Labels
In cases where the labels have been removed either due to wear or repair, you can still reference the serial number after turning on the device. From the Login or lock screens after startup, press ALT + V to see the Chrome OS version and serial number. The information will display in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
