Change Request Process
The Data Policy & Practice Change Request purpose is to facilitate communication among data stewards about system configurations changes that may impact other teams & processes. Submitting a change request will create an entry on the DPP general teams channel, as well as an approval email to data stewards who may be impacted. Some changes may be unavoidable, but should still be submitted to the change process if there are potential downstream effects to ensure teams can make any needed adjustments. It also allows data stewards to engage in discussion about the change, which helps in building understanding and transparency.
